We only stayed two days, but the camp is wonderful – and we plan to return using Camp Forktail as a base to explore the National Park.
Thanks so much to everyone fro organising our five-day trek and elephant safari. The food was excellent and your company was a great pleasure.
We like the camp rule that everybody must sing a folk song from their country around the fire – we’ll learn more and bring a guitar next time. |

| The situation of your camp below the hills is very beautiful. The comfort of your accommodation rivals some of the African camps we have visited. No-where have we found more attentive, helpful and friendly staff, and the best way to eat dinner is to share their company around the campfire. We thank our guide particularly for an interesting walk up the Nullah. |

Forktail Creek makes me wonder if I can ever live in the city again. Great hosts; home cooked food; roaring bonfires- there are so many fond memories…
Thank you Ritish, Minakshi, Harish, Kunwar and all the others who make me want to stay on. |

Even my stay here is too short for 2 nights. I had really good time.
Nature is well conserved and beautiful.
Staff is very kind, friendly and also know much about wildlife. I learnt a lot and am impressed with the good food.
If I had a chance I would like to visit again and stay longer. |

| The climax of our fantastic visit to India! Camp has surpassed all of our expectations. Very clean and peaceful surroundings. Food is superb and definitely the best we have had all trip, beating any five star hotel. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, attentive- we should have stayed longer. |

| Camp Forktail Creek was an experience of a lifetime. On our next trip we’ll surely make our stay at least two weeks. Harish was a perfect coordinator of the entire experience. Anil (our wilderness guide) was also an exceptional professional. He took time and had the expertise to make each trek a genuine spiritual experience. On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate CFC a 20!!! |

Beyond all expectations. 8 tigers in 4 days with a final sighting out of the ‘picture book’. Staff at Camp superb + friendly with K.D being a star. We look forward to returning your hospitality if you are in UK.
Our stay at Camp Forktail could not have been more enjoyable or rewarding…we would recommend it to our many friends who like us are experienced eco travellers to many different parts of the world…….your guides who planned and accompanied us on the game drives and Elephant safaris into the national park could not have been more, friendly, knowledgeable or patient. To experience, as we did, the sights and sounds of a tigress charging a group of elephants is a picture locked in our minds for ever. To watch the wildlife of the Corbett Park and the surrounding area from the back of elephant or from one of Camp Forktail’s safari vehicles was an exhilarating experience.
We particularly liked the way that you have employed and involved the local families who live in the village of Bhakrakot where your camp is. The warmth of reception we experienced on returning to the Camp each evening and the excellent food and all round service is testimony to your involving local families…our warmest regards and thanks for an unforgettable experience. |

Paradise found here at Corbett Tiger Reserve. I can’t explain what a wonderful experience I have had. The Camp is not only set in the most stunning location, but the hospitality of Ritish and Minakshi far out measures the best. Although I did have 2 sightings of a tiger, that was not the highlight of my trip. It was the warmth and generosity that I found here at Camp Forktail Creek that will remain as an undeletable memory for me.
You will always be welcome in my home… |

Our 2nd stay- this remains a very special place with special people. The wildlife and birds in the Camp and surrounding areas rival any of the other wonderful places in the world we have visited.
Four days in Corbett National Park produced 6 sightings of 5 tigers!! Plus fantastic birds, elephants, mammals etc
The food and staff were all excellent. Special thanks to all of them.
We wish ‘Harry’ best of luck with his expanding list of birds- we hope he becomes a full fledged guide. |

Thank you so very much for having us here!! We have been made very welcome and looked after like royalty. Both Joel and I have enjoyed every minute. It was also a great experience to have actually seen a tiger!! All the guide books + websites we have researched explained how rare the chances of seeing a tiger is! Also I would like to thank you for your super website, without it we would not have found this lovely place.
On a final note, for anyone reading this who has just arrived at Forktail Creek- just relax and enjoy the experience!!
If any of you at Forktail ever visit the UK please let us know. |

| "All the hotels were quite OK, but the tented camp in Corbett National Park (Camp Forktail Creek) exceeded everything else. Such an extremely pleasant place! Everything there was excellent: the charming owners, the tent and its equipment, the staff, the vehicles, all the food (we liked the food everywhere, but in a few other places some of the dishes were a little bit too hot for Marit’s sensitive taste), the animal life around it, everything! A real high-quality camp. A real highlight was the excursion by foot near the camp itself which was both fascinating and exciting, meeting, as we did, a wild elephant and watching the remnants of a tiger’s feast…." |
