USER AGREEMENT

The copyright in all materials (including pictures) and information contained on this website vests in Camp Forktail

Creek (CFC), a unit of Nature Explorations Pvt Ltd, marketed by Avisfera Adventures. It may be accessed and

downloaded for private and non-commercial use.

Publication or reproduction of any information or materials contained herein on any other website is expressly

prohibited, unless prior written approval has been obtained therefore from an authorized representative of CFC.

Without derogating from the aforegoing, the practice of “web crawling” on this site is expressly prohibited where

the use of the information is for commercial purposes, including the operation of any aggregated travel marketing

search engine.

PRIVACY POLICY

CFC, will treat all personal information you give us as strictly confidential and no personal information will be made

available to third parties, unless obliged to do so by law or legal process. When you forward personal information

including your name, e-mail address, mailing address and other details to us, CFC will use a secure server to

encrypt such information before it is received by us. Once we receive it, we will protect such information from

unauthorised access and use.

This site may use “cookies” to customise it and make your visit to us more user friendly. Cookies cannot harm your

computer in any way and are an industry standard. They are small text files that contain only information provided

by you, the visitor, to the website. Furthermore, our users may configure their browsers to not accept our cookies.

CFC may send e-mail messages to our customers with news and special offers and users may, by return mail,

indicate whether they would prefer not to receive any such mail in future.

CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

To confirm a reservation 100% of the total has to be paid in advance at least 45 days prior to the date of

reservation.

50% of the total could be paid as an advance, anytime 6 months prior to the date of the reservation.

Reservation confirmation for minimum huts/ number of people would only happen on receipt of 50% advance.

45 days before we also need everybody's full name, age, sex, nationality and passport numbers (PAN or driving

license numbers for Indians) should a permit be required for entering the Tiger Reserve.

CANCELLATION POLICY

30 days or less than 30 days before the arrival date - no refund.

45 days or less than 45 days before the arrival date - 50% refund.

60 days or less than 60 days before the arrival date - 75% refund.

No refund in case of road block, accident, no show, bandh etc.

In the event that CFC receives a new reservation request, CFC reserves the right to request the release of your

space being held, or alternatively the required advance to be paid for confirming your reservation.

CFC reserves the right to cancel all services booked by CFC should full payment not be received 45 days prior to

arrival.

BOOKING AMENDMENT PROCEDURE

All reservations made shall be subject to the cancellation policy.

All amendments are possible as long as no permits (for excursions into the Tiger Reserve) are in hand, as these

are all non-refundable.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE

Payments can be made directly into our bank account (details of which will be sent by the marketing office as and

when the reservation is confirmed).

We accept only domestic or international bank transfers, domestic cheques/ demand drafts or cash.

All transactions will be processed in Indian Rupees (Rs.)

We do not accept credit cards.

CURRENT RULES OF CORBETT TIGER RESERVE

1) There is a restriction to the number of jeeps that are allowed into the day visit zone of the Tiger Reserve each

day. As per the current rule of the forest department, Indians can book 15 days in advance and foreigners 30 days

in advance. The details and the advance must be with us at least 30 days prior for Indians and 45 days prior for

foreign nationals to enable us to make the advance booking for the game drive. Till then it is subject to availability

(as per the rules of the forest dept). The permits once in hand are non-refundable. Currently only 5 jeeps are

allowed on a full day game drive.

2) The procedure for making a reservation at any of the forest rest houses inside the Tiger Reserve (overnight

stay) is that, firstly, you make an advance deposit. Then we put in an application to the forest department

requesting accommodation for which we need full names, age, sex, nationality, passport number (in case of

foreigners) or driving license number or PAN (for Indians) for those travelling.

This application can be put in 6 months in advance. The earlier we put it in the more your chances of getting

the reservation.

30 days before the date of reservation or 15 days in case of an Indian, we go and collect your permits from the

forest department. They could let us know anywhere from 1 day to 25 days before the date of the reservation. Till

then it is subject to availability.

National holidays, big weekends and the like, are bad dates to try for. Most times we will not be able to get a

permit on such busy dates.

Normal weekdays are the best for getting the permit and viewing wildlife as they will be least crowded.

The permits once in hand are non-refundable.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: we do not take reservation for any forest rest house inside the National Park from 20th Dec

to 5th Jan or any National Holiday, as it is next to impossible to get a reservation/booking for overnight stay on

these dates. We advise you to plan your trip accordingly.
