Park Seasons And Timings
The day visit zone of the Park stays open from
15th October (or later) to 30th June.
The zones where overnight stays are permitted open from
15th November to 15th June.

Winter: October to March
Days are clear and pleasant; nights are cold, with temperatures varying between 4°C and 25°C. It’s a great time for bird watching, animal tracking and mountain views.

Summer: April to June
Hot days with cool nights, with temperatures varying between 46°C and 19°C. It is the ideal time for sighting animals, especially elephants.

Humid days and pleasant nights. A good time for walks, trekking and rafting on the Kosi river (if permitted). September is good for observing flora.
